"Music With A Message"
From the meek notes of a six-year-old singing hymns out of her bedroom window, to the embracing sounds of a trained professional ministering on stage, Barbara’s love for the Lord continues to shine as she shares her heart through song and testimony. Barbara sang her first solo at the age of six and continued to sing with her family until she married. As an adult, she toured with a Christian music ensemble until 1993, when she & Dale were called to this ministry. Barbara and Dale work together as a team, to present a worshipful experience. Together they have given hundreds of concerts for all types of events and for audiences of all ages. Dale is a certified sound engineer. He combines his technical expertise, and knowledge of music with state-of-the-art sound system technology to provide the best sound possible for the audience. Barbara uses her God-given music and communication skills to ‘create’ a concert that lives on well beyond the event. Barbara has made several appearances on TV. Her concerts have been broadcast live on the radio. In 1997, Barbara’s rendition of the song ‘The Secret Place’ made it to #25 on the nationwide Christian Country Chart (CCRB) and stayed on that chart for five months. In 1999, another of her songs ‘Makin Plans For A Better Day’ also made the chart. She has produced several recordings, two under the direction of Roger Talley, and another by Horizon Music Group under their label. According to Barbara, her most enjoyable times of ministry are in settings where she can truly be herself and share experiences that have served to mold her life into a channel of blessing for others. |
